Your Waiver

Experience requirements:

Attire: closed-toe shoes (no sandals), cotton clothing, such as jeans and t-shirts preferred, and protective eye gear (provided by Firenation). Please tie back long hair. Ages 10 & up.

Please note:

Glass will not be available to take until advised by instructor. Most glass pieces will take at least 12-24 hours to fully anneal (bring down to room temperature). Then it must be cold worked. We will call you when pieces are ready for pick up.

Experiences are beginning level with ages 8+ for bulbs and ages 10+ for Seasonal/Blown. Students under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult (18+). Registration and full payment required upon booking.

Cancellation Policy:

A 48-hour cancellation notice is required to receive a full refund. A firenation gift certificate will be issued when less than 48-hour notice is given. In the event that firenation needs to cancel (weather, power outage, etc), your experience will be rescheduled. If you are unable to attend the new date, we will do our best to work you into another date. firenation reserves the right to refuse participation if the instructor feels the student is unsafe for themselves or someone else.

Release of Liability:

I am aware that Glass Working may be considered a hazardous activity. I am also aware that participating in these activities on the premise of firenation Glass Studio and Gallery involves certain risks of physical injury. I am voluntarily participating in these activities with knowledge of the danger and risk involved. I hereby agree to accept any and all risks of injury from my participation, and I expressly release and waive any claims for injury against firenation Glass Studio and Gallery. In the event of an injury, it is policy of the Gallery to provide basic first aid by a Staff Member and to make the student as comfortable as possible. If the Staff Member finds that the injury or health symptoms of the individual requires professional attention, then 911 will be called.

By signing this document, I acknowledge the inherent risks and voluntarily assume full responsibility for any injury, damage, or loss that may result from my participation. I hereby waive and release the business, its owners, and its staff from any and all liability, past, present, and future, relating to the services provided.
